Dallas area resident Paul Generale has spent more than two decades as a health care systems executive. A Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, he also maintains active membership with the Healthcare Financial Management Association. Paul Generale has also delivered health care systems strategy presentations to MBA students at the University of Miami and has been recognized as a top health care system CFO by Becker’s Hospital Review.
In 1998, Mr. Generale began his career as a project manager with CHRISTUS Health. Since then, he has functioned in various leadership capacities within the organization, including that of a vice president and regional chief financial officer for CHRISTUS St. Vincent Regional Medical Center in Santa Fe, New Mexico. From 2011 to 2016, Paul Generale served as the senior vice president of financial operations and ambulatory services for the entire CHRISTUS Health network of approximately 350 health care services and facilities across the United States and Latin America.
Since 2016, Paul Generale has directed all aspects encompassing strategy, acquisitions, risk finance, and ambulatory services as the executive vice president and chief strategy and network officer at CHRISTUS Health from its headquarters in Irving, a suburb of Dallas. He possesses a bachelor’s degree from Baylor University and an MBA from the University of Houston-Clear Lake.
