In Becker's article, experts advised health centers to step up the game by providing their staff nurses with moderate autonomy.

According to some executives, the modern generation of nurses moves between locations frequently. Rigid work schedules don't offer flexibility. Nurses are likely attracted to employers who give them moderate autonomy regarding their work schedules.
